Patrick Porter was born c.1759 in Ireland. There about 1784 he married Margaret Harkins who was also born in Ireland c.1762. About 1793 they came to the USA and lived in Allegheny Co., PA until about 1814 when they moved to Wayne Co., Ohio. There they raised their family of 10 children. Patrick died 27 July 1823 in Chippewa, Wayne, Ohio and was buried in Old Presbyterian Cemetery, Stark Co., Ohio. Margaret died 21 Dec 1837 in Wayne Co., Ohio.
