Henry was the son of Charles David Elder & Susan Blanchard. He married Lillie Mary Elizabeth Clark & they had 8 children. William was a twin. He was connected with Equitable Life Insurance for 34 years. Henry was awakened early one Saturday morning by some noisy cats. He went to a back porch to chase them & lost his balance & fell over the balustrade to the paved yard below. When his brother-in-law found him, Henry was dead of a fractured skull.
