DIED. -on last Wednesday, the 25th, JAMES RUSSELL died of typhoid fever. Mr. Russell was in poor health, but was not seriously ill but a few days.

Saturday, September 4, 1875

DIED. At Lincoln, Miami County, Ind., on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1875, Dr. JAMES RUSSELL, aged 66 years.

Mr. Russell was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania, and has been a resident of this county nearly a quarter of a century, in which time he has formed a large circle of friends and acquaintances. His illness was of short duration. A few days before taking down with typhoid fever, he visited his son-in-law at the place named, where he died.

For a number of years he has practiced medicine in this county in a small way and was regarded by all who knew him as an honest, upright and Christian gentleman.
