Mrs. Blake passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Jackson Hospital. She was born on September 11, 1919 in Shelby Co., AL to Catt Smith Darling and Annie Elizabeth Jackson Darling. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. She worked as a sales clerk for Louis Crew and Co, because she wanted to be around other people.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Benjy Adair (Charlotte),Prattville, Rev. Jon Adair (Stephanie), Montgomery and Jenny Martin, Wetumpka; great-grandchildren, Caitlin Adair, Noah Martin and Jade Adair; daughter-in-law, Vicki Adair, Wetumpka.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, James Thomas Adair, second husband, Issac Calloway Blake, son, Jim Adair; and sister, Margaret Barber.
