BOTH DIED IN THE SAME HOUR
Mrs. Laura (Louisa) J. Burden, wife of Robert Burden, died at her home, 2211 South Waite Street at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning after an illness of more than three years. Mrs. Burden was afflicted three years ago with paralysis, but did not suffer until the time of her death. She was conscious all the time and enjoyed the companionship of her husband and children.
Mrs. Burden was 59 years, 10 months and 4 days old and was the mother of twelve children, eight of whom are living. During her whole life she lived a clean, Christian life and died in hope of reward in the hereafter.
The children surviving are Mrs. Silas Jones, John W. Burden, James A. Burden, of Muncie; Jasper, Harley, Willis B., of Indianapolis and George W.
The funeral of Mrs. Burden will be held from the Fifth Street AME church of which she was a member at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon and interment will be at I.O.O.F cemetery.
