Funeral Service for Mrs. Annie Bowen, 73, of Route 4, Fort Smith, was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rudy, Ark. Pentecostal Church with Rev. Bill Green and Rev. Charles Graham officiating. Burial was at Gracelawn Cemetery with Edwards Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Bowen, a member of the Assembly of God Church, died at a local hospital Monday after a long illness.
She is survived by two sons, Clayton of Rudy and William of Denver, Colo.; five daughters, Mrs. Louise Starnes and Mrs. Frances Bowlin, both of Fort Smith, Mrs. Lydia Bowlin of Arkoma, Okla., Mrs. Dicie DelRio of Richmond, Calif., and Mrs. Helen Sheffield of Paris, Ark.; one brother, Gus Murphy of Bakersfield, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Addie Tedder of Rudy; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
