Mrs. Beard [sic-Baird], late landlady of the hotel, after an illness of some months, expired last Sunday afternoon at the hotel and will be buried from the Baptist church this afternoon. The lady was sixty-six years old and was the mother of four children, all of whom will be at the funeral. Mrs. B. has conducted the landladies duties at this popular hostelry in a winning manner. She made few acquaintances because of her duties, but all who reached the inner circle speak highly of her.
