LA GRANGE, Ky., Nove. 22. - A distressing accident took place in this county late
yesterday afternoon about four miles west of here, which resulted in the death of Miss Hallie Leet, the nineteen-year-old daughter of James N. Leet. Mr. Leet had just returned from a hunt and when at the house he proceeded to adjust the hammer of his gun. The weapon was accidentally discharged and the full charge struck the young woman in the back of the head, tearing away the skull and causing death instantly. Miss Leet was very handsome and quite popular in the neighborhood in which she resided.
