Mr. Justin Adam Gluscevich, 33, of Frederick, passed away on Monday, May 9, at his residence. Born in Frederick on July 9, 1977, he was the beloved son of Jo Ellen and Lincoln Gluscevich, also of Frederick.
As a child Justin loved skateboarding, playing the piano and guitar, and spending time with his many friends and family. Justin was an artist, a writer, and a musician who was forever writing lyrics for songs and/or poetry. He produced a CD that was available in many stores throughout the area, and was a fan of all types of music. He was baptized and confirmed at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, which he attended throughout his youth.
Justin attended The Banner School of Frederick, Monocacy Middle, and St. John's at Prospect Hall.
Perhaps Justin will be remembered for his beautiful eyes and bright smile that would light up any room. He had a kind heart and gentle soul and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to a friend or stranger. Forever looking for adventure, his outgoing personality always left an impression on everyone who was fortunate to know him.
In addition to his parents, Justin is survived by his children, Isabella Gluscevich, Noble Gluscevich, and Darby Gluscevich of West Virginia and Owen and Teagan Gluscevich of Frederick. Also surviving are his twin sister and best friend, Julie, of Frederick, his maternal grandmother, Winifred "Jo" Adams of New Oxford, Pa., aunts and uncles, Carol Gladhill (Donald) of Thurmont, Sherry Shriner (Dave) of Carroll Valley, Pa., and R. Douglas Adams (Migdalia) of Keedysville. He is also remembered by many loving cousins as well as an abundance of friends whom he met throughout his life, many of them from his early school days. Justin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roland A. Adams, and his paternal grandparents, Anna and John Gluscevich.
A Service of Remembrance will be held for Justin on Thursday, May 19, at 11:00 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church located at 1415 W. Seventh Street in Frederick with Pastor Ron Reaves officiating. In lieu of flowers it is requested that memorial gifts in Justin's name be sent to The Way Station, P. O. Box 3826, Frederick, Maryland 21705-3826, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at the above address or to The Freedom Center, 14 W. Patrick Street, Suite 10, Frederick, MD 21701.
Rest in peace now, loved one, as you so deserve it, and may your bright smile shine in the stars at night.
