Lowry, James Warren, 84, of 112 Ross Street, passed away at this home at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday after a long illness. He was a son of the late Elige and Florence Masters Lowry. He was a retired stone mason, a member of the Jessamine County Sportsman Club and was a retired pool room operator. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Savage Lowry, Nicholasville, two daughters, Mrs. Ben W. Houp, Wilmore, Mrs. Margaret Grant, Nicholaville, oone son, Thomas Lowry, Jessamine county, one sister , Mrs. Gracie Sellman, Cincinnati, Ohio, one brother, Mayo Lowry, Nicholaville, fourteen grandhildren and several great grandhildren. Services friday at 2 p.m. At Betts and West Funeral Home. Nicholaville, Rev. tom Miller officiating. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bearers; Otis Houp, Clarence Grant, Dave and Billy Savage, Roger Lowry and Douglas Grant.
