Catherine is the daughter of Levin Collins and Catherine Odom.

Catherine's headstone indicates she married two brothers William and Aquilla Matthews. She appears to have married William about 23/24 Nov 1812 in Richmond, Georgia. He died in 1821, and she married Aquilla after that.
