Ruby was the second of four children born to William David and Fannie Ella (Kivett) Wright. She married Carson Elvin Pugh in 1946.

LIBERTY - Mrs. Ruby Wright Pugh, 61, of Rt. 1, Staley, died Saturday morning at her home.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Hollys Chapel Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Harry Meadows officiating. Burial will be at the church.
She was employed with Dependable Hosiery Mills and was a native of Randolph County.
Surviving are widower, Elvin Pugh; mother, Mrs. Ella Kivett Wright of Ramseur; brother, Luther Wright of Liberty; sister, Mrs. William Westmoreland of Liberty.
The family will be at Loflin Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today.
