Louis E. Mohlenbrink
Louis Edward Mohlenbrink died Thursday evening, September 30, 1999, at the Twin Fail Clinic and Hospital.
Mr. Mohlenbrink was born July 25, 1921, at Enid, Oklahoma. He attended Lutheran School while living in Enid, Oklahoma. He and his family moved to Buhl when he was 15, where he attended the Buhl High School. He joined the Natonal Guard, and later the Navy, where he attained the rank of Chief. In 1950, he married his wife Mary Lou in Yuma, Arizon. They lived in El Centro, California until moving to Ketchikan Alaska in 1951. In 1956, they moved back to Idaho, whre they have lived in Filer for the last 30 years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and metal detecting. He will be missed by all who know and loved him.
Surviving are his sons; David Mohlenbrink of Imperial Beach, California, and Mark Mohlenbrink of Twin Fals; his daughters, Carol Oleshefski of Chula Vista, California, Patricia Costa of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Alice Charlesworth of California, Julie Nichols of Filer, and Lisa Rynstead of Missouia, Mont.; along with eleven grandchildren, and three great-garndchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled to be held Saturday, October 2, 1999, at 1 p.m. at the Peace Lutheran Church in Filer, with military honors to follow at the Filer Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parke's, Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls.
