A native of Aurelius, Mr. Dann lived in Syracuse before moving to Palermo 28 years ago. Until 1981, he owned and operated Dann's Rubbish Removal for 15 years. He later drove a school bus for the Mexico School District for 10 years, retiring in 1992.
Mr. Dann was a publisher at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Central Square. He was a veteran of the Air Force.
Surviving are his wife, the former Carol Milligan; six sons, James Lyle, Harold Raymond, Thomas Robert, Gary Lewellyn and David Allen, all of Palermo, and Daniel David of Pennellville; two daughters, Patricia Ann Redhead of Palermo and Diane Marie Whalen of Mexico; a brother, Raymond F. Dann of Palermo; 17 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, Central Square. Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Upson Corners Cemetery, Central Square.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Watson Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Central Square.
