Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville. Mr. Schnexneider, age 90 of Marksville passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 in Hessmer. He was a retired dairy farmer. He farmed in Marksville until Tunca Drive was built through his farm in 1969 and he moved his operation to Hickory Hill Community.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Brenda Bernard & husband Dewey of Mansura, Denise Dugas of Baton Rouge, Susan Guillot of Evergreen, 7 Grandchildren & 8 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011 in the Parlor of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. & resume on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until shortly before funeral service time. Rosary time will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
