A celebration of life will be held Dec. 12 for Mary Catherine Stueber of Corvallis, formerly of Eugene, who died Dec. 5 of cancer. She was 49. Stueber was born March 2, 1954, in Chicago to Francis and Rosemary Dour. She married David Stueber in May 1975. They later divorced.
She grew up in a Chicago suburb and graduated from Lake Park High School in 1972. She and her husband moved to Vermont in 1975. She and her children later moved to Oregon to be closer to her family. She worked for Farmers Insurance in Eugene for 16 years before settling in Corvallis in 1993. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a completely devoted mother. She enjoyed spending time with her children and attending 'NSync concerts with her daughters. She especially enjoyed family vacations and weekend getaways with her best friend. Survivors include a son, Jeffrey; and her twin daughters, Jennifer and Karen. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Park. Arrangements by McHenry Funeral Home, Corvallis, OR.
