Capt. Patrick Watson was the son of William and Sarah Watson. He was born ca 1753. He never married. He and his Mother were killed by Indians on 23 May 1780 and are both buried in Lewis Cemetery.

Four of the rangers patrol were killed that day. Sadly Private Watson was killed just a week later.
