He was born in the Town of Perth April 1, 1889. a son of John and Minnie Lansburg, and always made, his home in this vicinity. Mr. Lansburg was employed by the Mohawk Carpet Mills for 37 years, working up to the time of his illness. For the last 12 years, he had been foreman of the millwright force at the Shuttleworth division of the carpet mills. He was a member of the Mohawk Mills Quarter Century Club and of the Hagaman Methodist Church.
April 19. 1911, Mr. Lansburg married Ann Seely, who survives him. He also leaves two sons, Robert, West Galway. and S.Sgt. George Lansburg, now stationed at Hahn Air Force Base, Germany; three daughters, Mrs Stewart Beatty, Broadalbin, Mrs. Melvin Long, Amsterdam, and Mrs. Donald Kravis. Hagaman; four sisters, Mrs. Jessie Harnish, Gloversville, Mrs. Walter Finlayson and Mrs. Grace Stirewalt, Rochester, and Mrs, Ray Allen, Hagaman; two brothers, Edward Lansburg, Gloversville, and William Lansburg. Hagaman; six grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
