She was born on June 12, 1926, in Ely, where she was a lifelong resident.
Her parents were Peter and Mary (Kaplan) Handberg.
She was a graduate of Ely Memorial High School in 1944, and the University of Minnesota in 1948. She married Willard Domich in 1948. For over 20 years she was a social worker for St. Louis County in the Ely area.
Her husband, Willard, died in 1969.
Survivors include two daughters, Maren Domich, and Celia Domich; two sons, Eugene, and Paul; a sister, Marilyn (Mel) Peterson; a brother, Peter (Ruth) Handberg; and two grandsons, Nicholas and Paul.
Burial will be in Ely Cemetery.
