Sister Eleanor Ann Bisenius, BVM, 81, of 1130 Carmel Drive, died at 9:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, at Marian Hall, Dubuque.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, in the Marian Hall Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at the chapel, where there will be a wake service at 11 a.m. The Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
Sr. Eleanor Ann worked as a nurse and physical and occupational therapist at Marian Hall on the Mount Carmel Campus for 37 years.
She was born on July 17, 1928, in Anamosa, daughter of Ray and Sarah (Lane) Bisenius, of Cascade.
Surviving are a brother, Brother Charles Bisenius, CSPX, of Cascade, and Sisters of Charity, BVM, with whom she shared life for 58 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Rev. Thomas Bisenius.
