He was owner and operator of Andrews Radio & TV Repair Service and U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Survived by wife, Jessie Brown Andrews; three godchildren, Cathy Agustus and Katrina Lanehart, both of Baton Rouge, and Sandy Johnson, Houston, Texas; five brothers, Joe Andrews, Detroit, Mich., Allen, Perkins, Sylvester and Merritt Andrews, all of Baton Rouge; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents; two brothers; a sister; and a godchild.
