Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martin, MN for Richard Douvier, age 75, who died Thursday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in the St. Catherine's Parish Cemetery in Farming.

Richard was born in Farming, Minnesota to Richard and Mary (Woebkenberg) Douvier. He married Marcella Jonas on October 14, 1964 in St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martin. Richard enjoyed farming and playing cards. He also loved to fix things in his shed and could fix anything from curling irons to farm equipment, which earned him the title of "Master Tinkerer". He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marcella; children, Doreen of St. Cloud, Ron (Sheri) of St. Joseph, Gary of St. Cloud, Linda of Melrose, Julie (Matt) Nienaber of Sartell, Brian of St. Cloud, and Jason (Amanda) of Farming; brother, Val (Olga) of Farming; sister, Martha (Art) Miller of Albany, and Adeline Cox of Lafayette, MN; grandchildren, Cole, Tyler, Kyle, Tristan, Devin, Logan, Zachary, and Makayla.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen (1985); parents, Richard and Mary; sisters, Theresa Christen and Christine Bloch; brothers, Bernard, Gregor, Lawrence, Leonard, William, and John
