DAZEY, N.D. - Elmer Oppegard, 96, died in his home on December 16, 1963.
The funeral will be in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Rev. T. C. Knutson and Rev. Ralph Christopherson officiating.
Born in Norway, Feb. 21, 1867, Mr. Oppegard came to Valley City, North Dakota, as a young man. He homesteaded near here before going into a meat and grocery business here.
Mr. Oppegard had been a long-time member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. He married Anna Johnson at Cooperstown, North Dakota, December 30, 1904.
Surviving are two sons, Hollis, Dazey, and Elton, Cooperstown; a daughter, Clarice, Jamestown, North Dakota, and a half-brother, John Oppegard, Dazey.
