Attended schools in both Vermont and Georgia, graduating from Savannah High School in 1948.

Veteran-US Navy, US Army and Army reserve

Graduated - Lyndon State College in 1956 and went on to attain degrees from St. Michael's College and UVM.

Received numerous military diplomas and awards including. Awarded the Navy Occupation Badge, Overseas Service, Army Service, National Defense Medal, Korean Service Medal and the Legion of Merit.

Active with many military & community organizations

Survived by 4 children; his three grandchildren; and a brother

Interment - Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery
