The funeral service for Mrs. Leo Cartwright were held on Monday afternoon at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in New Auburn that was largely attended by her many friends she was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Mrs. Cartwright was a gold star mother they lost a son Leo Junior and World War II. Though all her years of illness she was known to complain and met everyone with a smile. She will be sadly missed. During the services three songs were saying by Mr. and Mrs. Leon Morley, Mrs. John Waughand Mr. Roy Morley. In the Garden, Under my Wing, What a friend we have in Jesus, with Mrs. G. C. Waite at the piano. Pallbearers were Lloyd Joyal, Neil Powers and emil Gumness, Neil Tarr, John Olson and Harry Abrahamson. The flowers were gorgeous and beautiful with banks and banks. The love and stems for this grand person. Interment was made in the New Auburn Cemetery with the Rev. G. C. Waite officiating. The children of the late Mrs. Cartwright were all present for the funeral. They are as follows Mr. and Mrs. LeMaire Cartwright of Stoneham. Mass, Mr. and Mrs. John Gumness and children of Wausau, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Langman of Cameron, Mr. and Mrs. Lavon Cartwright and son of Janesville, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Cartwright and son of Janesville, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cartwright of Waukegan, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Geary and son Mr. and Mrs. LaVarne Christensen and baby of Libertyville, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Wallsch of Colfax, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stevens and baby of Eldarado, Ill and the Harvey Chase family of new Auburn.
