Youngest child of James and Sarah Margaret Kinchen Warnock.

Gravesite Details

The last burial was in 1878, Alpha Warnock, daughter of James and Margaret Kinchen Warnock. Over time her gravesite was the only one visible, with a single panel rail fence around it. In the 1940s a tenant for Mrs. Lois Warnock Cohen, the landowner, dismantled the fencing and ploughed over it, thus the exact gravesite was lost. In the later 1950s Mrs. Mallie Warnock Pope pointed out the approximate location stating that it was a large community cemetery with blacks buried on one side of the road and whites on the ot

Totally abandoned cemetery on land of family of Lois Warnock Cohen in northern Bacon Co. Described as very large cemetery with both black and white burials and members of McClellan and Nelson families buried there. Last burial 1878. Site lost in the 1930s.
