John E. Lysne Dies Monday at Walker, Minn.
Former Steele County Resident Succumbs at Walker Sanatorium; Funeral to Be Thursday at Norwegian Lutheran Church in Havana
John E. Lysne, a former resident of Steele county, died Monday at the Minnesota State Sanatorium at Walker, Minn., following a prolonged illness.
Lysne was 66 years old and had been at the Walker sanatorium for some time receiving care for tuberculosis which resulted in his death.
The body arrived in Owatonna at 1:30 o'clock this morning and was taken to the Hanna-Meyer Funeral Chapel where it will lie in state until Thursday.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Aurora Norwegian Lutheran church in Havana with the Rev. T.E. Moen of Kasson officiating. Burial will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
Three brothers and two sisters survive.
