SAUK CITY - Orville L. King, age 68, died after a long illness on Friday, April 4, 1997, at his home. He was born in Richland County on April 25, 1928, the son of the late Orville and Ida Mae (Cline) King Sr. Orville was married to Bernice
Campbell on July 17, 1946. Mr. King was the owner and operator of King's Auto Service for 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Bernice; two daughters, Linda (Roger) Barnhill of Belmont, North Carolina, and Pamela (Christopher) Harden of Lodi; three brothers, Darold King of Pearl City, Hawaii, Robert (Bertha) King of Cazenovia and Sheldon (Laurie) King of Cazenovia. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Emily Mathison. Private graveside services will be held at the SAUK CITY CEMETERY at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, with Pastor Robert Rieke officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, at GNEWIKOW-HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City.
