Age 84. Passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 1985, at the Lincoln Village Convalescent Center. She was born in Racine on April 11, 1901. Miss Schliesmann was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Christian Women of St. Joseph's Church. Surviving are two brothers and one sister-in-law, Fred J. Schliesmann, George (Agnes) Schliesmann; two sisters, Gertrude Kaplan and Veronica Otwaska; sister-in-law, Bernadette Schliesmann; brother-in-law, Jerry N. George, all of Racine; nieces, nephews, other near relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Elizabeth, sister, Marie M. George, two brothers, John and Matthew, two brothers-in-law, Michael Otwaska and John Kaplan, two sisters-in-law, Ella Schliesmann and Frances Schliesmann. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 23, at 8:30 a.m. at the MARESH-MEREDITY FUNERAL HOME, Main at Eighth Sts. and at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church with Rev. Erwin E. Mogilka officiating. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kinzie Ave. Relatives and friends may meet this (THURSDAY) evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. with Prayer Vigil at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials to St. Joseph's Church, St. Catherine's High School or to the Lincoln Village Convalescent Center have been suggested.
