James Thomas “Tom Boy” Fields, age 74 of Bowling Green,
died Wednesday, June 22, 2005.
The Metcalfe County native was a retired farmer
and an avid Nascar Fan. He is survived by seven daughters,
Louise Simmons, Ella Davis and Linda Cline all of Glasgow,
Nettie Sturgeon of Brownsville, Diane Waters, Frances Fields
and Tina Montoya all of Bowling Green; three sons, James Fields
of Glasgow, Mitchell Fields of Savoyard and Jerry Fields of
Temple Hill; three step-daughters, Mary Boatman of Glasgow,
Gloria Cannon of Brownsville and Vickie Wheeler of Rockfield;
two step-sons, Douglas and Kenny Groce of Glasgow; two brothers,
Lois Edward Fields of Glasgow and Philmore Fields of Indiana
and one sister, Louise Fields of Edmonton. Forty one grandchildren
and forty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson also
surviving. Funeral services for James Thomas “Tom Boy” Fields will be
held at 1pm Monday June 27, 2005, at the J.C. Kirby and Son Funeral Home,
Broadway Chapel with burial in the Clack Cemetery in Glasgow,Ky.
Visitation from 11am until 1pm Monday,June 27, 2005.
