I have been working on my family history since 1981. My g-g-g- grandfather was killed at Shiloh, Tn in 1862. That is what got me started. I enjoy reading, fishing, bowling, and of course, genealogy. I met my wife when we both worked in the same office building. I am an MLT, and she just recently retired, to work part time. The information is what I have been able to obtain over a period of time I will change it only If I feel it is appropriate.
I consider those who don't transfer management of memorials to folks who want their family transferred to them, rude. I have feelings for my family and do transfer for those who ask, within reason both by guidelines and reasonable requests. Keeping memorials to just make one look good, does not work for me.
