Kelley currently resides in Emporia, Kansas. He is married to Carolyn Jean (Luecke) Lackey. They have one son, Ian Jud, and one daughter, Kathryn Sophia. Kelley was born and raised in Parsons, Kansas and has lived in Kansas City, Missouri and Manhattan, New York. Kelley likes to collect antique records and is the default family historian. He is an Episcopal priest and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
