My name is Barbara, I am married to John and we have lived in southeast Kansas, most of our lives.

We have been married for 50 years, have three children, two biological, Shane and Shana, and Jeff, that we adopted when he was 16, 10 grandchildren and 8 beautiful great grand children.

We believe in GOD, believe in The power of Prayer, and believe that there are Angels among us here on earth.

I discovered this site while looking for relatives, and could find none. I hope that the entries that I have made help someone else find the loved ones that they are looking for. I have tried to add as much information as I can so that anyone looking for a loved one can make the connections. However, I am human and do make mistakes, so if you come across one, please let me know.

I love leaving flowers, especially on the entries that have no flowers at all. I believe everyone deserves flowers. I don't do it for the recognition or the count, I do it out of respect for those who have passed on and their loved ones. I would love to see flowers on every entry on this site.

If anyone should want me to remove or transfer one of their family members that I have entered, please contact me and I would be glad to do so.

I have met so many wonderful people through this site and also some distant family members that I was thrilled to meet.

I lost a very special friend yesterday evening. Patricia Elaine "Trish" Holaway passed away. She was one of the first friends that I made when I first started on this sight. We were friends and "Flower Buddies". I am going to miss her very much. Please leave flowers for her, as she was such a flower giver. Thank You.
