Born in Frankfort, Kentucky, Jan 11, 1936. Parents moved to Louisville, Kentucky when I was about 5 years old.
Raised in the East End of Louisville, Ky. Went to Benjamin Franklin grade school. Then to Alex G. Barret Jr. High school. Finally to Louisville Male H/S, (all boys then).
Drafted into the Army in 1957, for 2 years, all spent in Baumholder Germany, except for tech school, at Fort Knox, Kentucky, to learn how to fix tanks. Discharged in 1959, no big demand for a tank mechanic in civilian life? Strange??
Joined the Air Force in 1960, and retired in Oct 1980. Managed to finish high school, get 2 yrs of college and a degree in Electronics.
Came back to work with the Department of Defense, (DOD), as an planner/estimator, mostly electrical. Retired again in Jan 1997.
