According to Findagrave, the preferred method of getting changes made to a memorial is to click on the "SUGGEST EDITS" button on the memorial page. That way you will know the information was keyed correctly and it will pop up on the originator's page for approval.

When requesting a transfer please state how you are related to the person you want transferred and don't just put 'family' or 'relative'. I do all kinds of transfers but I would like to know how you know that person.

Please don't use Public Messages to suggest a change; that is what the "SUGGEST EDITS" is for. You can provide the memorial site to be changed.

Public Messages for changes might be overlooked for a while.
