I have always had an affinity for family trees (my own and those of other people). I feel it's important to understand our roots and keep accurate records for future generations. I would love to have more accurate information on my maternal grandmother's side. Information is limited due to her grandparents being survivors of the forced removal.
I am drawn to cemeteries with empathy for families left behind. I approach each place of rest with respect and reverence that is deserved. I like to think that stories of those who have gone on, can someday be explored because of this site.
I hope that through my research and contributions, others will be able to gain more knowledge about their own ancestors and families.
