I have been interested in genealogy for many years & preserving family history. Now that I am retired I have time to devote to research.

I grew up in a small town of Watseka in Illinois & a lot of my family still reside there. I have been gone for a long time & now live in the high desert of the Antelope Valley in California. Even though I am far from my hometown, the Internet makes it close. I have enjoyed so much finding relative connections from many parts of the nation. It makes it fun & worthwhile to met others with the same goal. Even though not all of my entries are relatives, I believe that everyone has a story to tell & obituaries are a Genealogical treasure.

I am a retired Industrial Electrician & my wife is retired from the banking world where she was working in Human Resources. We have been married for 62 years. Yes, to each other. We like working on this project together. We also enjoy our grandkids.
