My name is Jeri (Hatch) Herbert. I was born in Portland, Oregon, but grew up in Yakima, Washington until I was 13. I graduated from West Seattle High School in 1961. I married Darrell Herbert in 1962. We live in Des Moines, WA (a suburb of Seattle), moving here from West Seattle in 1996. We spent five years in Arapahoe, NE where I spent some time digging into genealogy - courthouses, newspapers & cemeteries. We have 3 sons, 3 granddaughters (1 deceased) and 3 grandsons (1 deceased) & 2 great grandchildren. Working on my family tree is so much fun but can be very addictive. I'm also a volunteer for Find A Grave which keeps me quite busy creating memorials & taking pictures in Washinton Memorial Park in SeaTac, King Co., WA. My husband, Darrell died on December 3, 2023.
