Please don't post obituaries to my memorials unless they are 1963 or earlier or it was written by you. Anything after 1963 is definitely still under copyright. Facts may be extracted from obituaries (don't copy word for word), but please make sure not to include the names of any living people per Findagrave policy.

I've been a member of Findagrave since early 2018 and a casual user for quite a while before that. I retired a few years ago and decided to try satisfying some photo requests for the cemetery where my mom is buried, Evergreen-Washelli in Seattle. I've come to realize how much hasn't been done in this cemetery! Evergreen-Washelli is mammoth, and some sections have barely been touched! In addition to photo requests, I'm also going row by row to research/create memorials and photograph the stones if not already done. I have recently completed Evergreen Section 20. There are 3,106 memorials (about 70% mine) now all with photos, plot info and GPS. I'm now starting on Evergreen Section 17, but I've done many in Evergreen Sections 4 and 12 as well. If you're interested in helping by adopting a section, please let me know. I know of a couple of other sections that have been adopted, but we could use more help!

If I manage a memorial for one of your friends or relatives, please feel free to request a transfer using the normal process through the 'Suggest Edits' page. I'll happily transfer a memorial to someone that has a connection to the deceased.
