My grandmother got me started in genealogy before I was 10 showing me photos of all sorts of ancestors and telling me stories about them. I have worked seriously on genealogy for over 30 years, even going back to college and earning a bachelor degree in history. I have much knowledge about the South, Alabama in particular. I don't live in the South but would be happy to help where I can.

When you find a photograph on a memorial, look to see who submitted it and give them credit for the photo if you download it. ALL photos have the name of the submitter associated with the photos. Look below the photo for "Added By:" Some require you to get permission first. Check the submitter's home page for instruction by clicking on the name of the person who added the photo.
