If you've found a mistake with one of my memorials, or someone is in the wrong cemetery, please send a correction through Edit and SAC (suggest another correction) instead of just creating a new memorial. I check in at least once a day.

FYI - You can have anything you want put on a headstone or in an obituary, whether it's accurate, biologically correct or true, doesn't matter. Changing the name on a memorial to reflect accuracy is not a big deal, so don't make it a big deal- care for your memorials by being accurate. If you're going to create them or assume control of them, take the time to research them and make sure they are accurate and link them to their family.

*STOP SENDING EDITS TO CHANGE THE WAY I HAVE A PLOT NUMBER LISTED. They are listed as I choose to list them- you list your plot numbers any way you wish to.

*Stop trying to link individuals who were divorced. They are no longer SPOUSES.

*It is unncessary to add information in the bio section, such as where they were born, parents, etc... IF all of this information is already on/linked to the memorial.

*Cemetery headstones and databases can and are sometimes incorrect, I will always focus on the broader picture and go with the spelling or date of what I find in the records.

PHOTOS: As far as the pictures and information I enter on Find A Grave, feel free to use it for any non commercial purpose. I have no desire to try to control its usage or be credited for it.

Since the move to Ancestry and the new website, newspaper obituaries, death certificates and other scanned documentation is allowed. We encourage members to move the images down to the bottom of the photo display so that they are not the first thing you see when viewing a memorial page.
