We worked on the IndyCar or Nascar race circuit(s) for over 26 years with Team Penske, the last 8 years with IndyCar Driver Will Power . Those job(s) have enabled us to travel the country and update our own family's genealogy by visiting local cemeteries, as well as taking volunteer photos for requests at local cemeteries on the race circuit.
Our Ancestry.com tree is pretty large, with almost 14,000 well-researched members - so that is our main focus. However, we try to always cross-post cemetery information on FindAGrave, and we love to help update information on Memorials when we can.
We really appreciate the cooperative atmosphere FindAGrave has, with folks who genuinely care about preserving our Ancestor's history by creating at least a small Memorial to the life they lived.
