I was born and raised in the Shreveport, La area. Married and moved to East Texas, then the oil field moved my family to Lafayette, LA for 16 years. Now I am back in Texas on Lake Fork near Quitman, TX where we built our retirement home.
What began as giving my daughter some names and dates for her family bible has turned into almost an obsession. I am fascinated by the past that lays quiet and unknown to our future generations. The pieces I gather, document and preserve today I hope will one day be viewed in awe by my future children's children and beyond.
