My full name is Robert Larry Akin and I go by my middle name - Larry. I have been doing genealogy for over 30 years building an Akin family tree of over 40,000 names. It is on Ancestry.com and is entitled, "David Akin of Newport, R.I.". This tree is mirrored on Rootsweb at www.akinfamilyhistory.com.
I wrote and published a book on the Akin family entitled, "The Akin Saga". It contains about 350 pages of stories, pictures, and genealogical information of the first 10 generations of Akins in my line.
I am married and we had two children both of whom are fully grown and married. We also have two grandchildren - both young adults.
