I am a decendant of Julius Floyd and Mary E. (Barber) Strickland. The great grand daughter of Leander Walton Strickland and Mary Frances "Fanny" Wood Strickland. Most all my family are buried around Strickland Town and Alvaton Meriwether County Georgia. I was born and raised in Luthersville, Meriwether Co. Georgia. I have done much research over the years of the Strickland Family and have a web site called Strickland Pride.

I am also researching my family history on my

grand mothers side, Edna Mae Leach. She married

Charles Luther Strickland Sr. My grand father.

Edna Mae Leach's father was John Ison Leach and mother was Cora Edna Mae Leach.

My mother was Robbie H. Combs. I have also researched the Barber family on her side.
