I've been interested in genealogy for years after being asked by my Grandmother to transcribe a genealogy she was unable to see properly. After years of frustration over a lack of access to cemetery listings I stumbled over Find A Grave and found loved ones I'd been looking for. I think it's important for those interested in genealogy as another tool for research. It's also important for loved ones who may be unable to visit a grave to have a site to, in a virtual sense, connect with the people they have lost.
