I am the 12th generation of Collums (and McCollums) in America. My 9th great-grandfather, John Neil McCollum 40669142 (Born in Argyll, Scotland), who immigrated to New Jersey in 1685 after being banished from Britain by order of King James II and VII for his participation in Argyll's Rebellion (in which he served as a Private). His son, John Samuel McCollum 233087555 was my 8th great-grandfather. Then John Wells McCollum 70841346 (my 7th ggf), William Henry McCollum/Collum 26863501 (my 6th ggf), David Collum 260045956 (my 5th ggf), (David being the father of James is under speculation and should not be considered fact) James S Collum 295595905 (my 4th ggf) (Not the same person as Solomon John Collum 172250066 who is verified to be the son of David Collum), Littleberry Beroy Collum 41875591 (my 3rd ggf), Walter Lafayette Collum 62186170 (my 2nd ggf), Dovard Ray Collum 142155632 (my ggf), Dovard Kelly Collum 221599775 (my gf), Brian Kelly Collum (my dad), and me.
