— Per Findagrave Rules, memorial owners have unfettered discretion to Approve or Decline Edits. Findagrave Rules also do not impose an affirmative duty on any memorial owner to perform primary research to validate the veracity of any Edit. Edit submitters cannot shift the burden of primary genealogy research to the memorial owner by submitting an Edit. If you want an Edit Approved, please submit supporting documentation as to every Edit to prove the correctness of your Edit, or risk a Decline.

— If you have a publicly available (ie. a FamilySearch) document source for your Edit suggestion, please include the URL in your Note section - don't include subscription-based sources ie. Ancestry - I'm not a subscriber)

— If you post an image, please also include the Source in the note field (newspaper name & date, etc.). If you are posting an obit, please post the Original obit (not re-typed and placed into a JPG)

— Punctuation, spacing and formatting is a matter of preference and subject to the ultimate discretion of the memorial owner.

If a name (or initial) is ON THE HEADSTONE or grave marker, then it will NOT BE REMOVED.

I DO NOT ACCEPT NAME CHANGES (of any kind) WITHOUT A DOCUMENTARY SOURCE. (ie. a printed/written obit on a (newspaper or funeral home) website, OR a historical document that has been scanned and is publicly available via URL). It is NOT acceptable to capture complied/abstracted information into an image from anywhere paste to my memorial and call it a "source." If the actual record is available, there is no reason to attach a compiled record of the image.

Edit suggestions must have some basis in-fact - the obit, existing family connections, or other FACTS contained ON THE MEMORIAL. I am loathe to blindly rubber stamp evidence-free Edits absent any justification whatsoever. This especially the case when the Bio is empty and there are NO ATTACHMENTS showing existing factual information upon which you rely. Please provide an explanation and attach a Vital Record document in support of your edits if it NOT supported by information already on the memorial. (especially for names and family connections)

Any incorrect edit auto-approved by an oversight is subject to reversal at any time.
