Louisiana native here that has been working on his family tree. I found this website by chance, and it has been very helpful in my genealogy research. I am located in Southwestern North Carolina close to Gastonia.

If you would like a transfer of a memorial, send me a request and I will transfer to you in accordance with Find A Grave's policy provided it is not a direct relative of mine. If corrections or additions need to be made to any memorial of mine, I will be glad to do so.

I am a photo volunteer and try to take pictures for others as I have time. I am more than happy to help. However, if I take a photo and you feel the need to delete it, please let me know why as a courtesy. My time is often limited and if my photo is going to be deleted as soon as I post it then why should I bother being a volunteer??

Please feel free to use any pictures I post of places, graves, headstones, cemeteries, obituaries and paper documents. The only exception I ask is pictures of people, namely, my family and friends that I have posted. I have shared many in the past on Ancestry and later find them on other websites, along with the wrong identifying information. That really bothers me! Please, DO NOT copy, share/ download any of my photos of people to ANY websites!!!

I like to get correct information in my genealogical research as I am sure that most people also desire. That said, please show me some courtesy on the photo's that I have generously shared.
