After 35+ years of research, there comes a point when you wonder, "What am I going to do with all of this STUFF!"

After considering many options, I decided it felt right to me to contribute part of my research to FAG, in the form of memorials that link families together again in death, and honor them with personal information that memorialize their lives.

I hate careless, sloppy genealogy. Please be assured when I create a memorial, or add to yours, the information is backed up by research in primary sources whenever possible, and/or trusted knowledge from descendants. I am happy to provide citations/sources for any information I post.

Good genealogy is not just names and dates. It is cranking those microfilm machines, seeking out dusty court records, probates, and deeds, and reading old newspapers and letters. It helps to have had a patient husband, who enjoyed travel and bushwhacking thru abandoned family cemeteries! For me, it has been an adventure and a passion, and I hope my research will help you on your own quests.
